Rectoral de Amandi
This winery is nestled in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra, in Amandi. Founded in 1990, six years before the own Denomination of Origin was created in 1996. This winery is a pioneer in creating the DO Ribeira Sacra.
The Rectoral de Amandi cellar is located on a seventeenth century building of 1000 m2 which was the former rectory and gives rise to the name of the winery and wine varietal Mencia therein made. It currently has facilities for up to 2,000,000 kilos in stainless steel temperature controlled fermentation and bottling line 4,500 bottles an hour and have 140 hectares dedicated to vineyards.
