The bodega was built in 1982 and has the most up to date equipment for the production of the three single grape variety wines that they produce: a Mencía with all the qualities of this exceptional red wine. Also, this bodega likes to experiment, every year, with the production of different varieties, at the same time it researches into the properties of other varieties of indigenous grapes. Its production capacity is about 200,000 bottles of Mencía and 22,000 of Albariño. From the harvest in the year 2000 they produced 15,000 bottles of crianza (aged) Mencía.
