Wine tunnel of the D.O. Ribeira Sacra at the L Fair in Lugo, while the Denomination has harvested 2,663,378 kilos
D.O. Ribeira Sacra attends the L Fair in Lugo, which celebrates its second edition on September 25th and 26th at the Pazo de Feiras e Congresos de Lugo, from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The program includes the Wine Tunnel D.O. Ribeira Sacra, to savor the wine resulting from heroic viticulture and as the protagonist for being the only D.O. viticulture of the province. 30 wines from 16 wineries with different types of wines: white, red, barrel and different vintages will participate in the event.
The event organized by the Association of Hostelry and Food Distributors of Lugo aims to be the showcase of the culinary wealth of the province and aspires to become the most important gastronomic event in the northwest of the peninsula.
10th official harvest day and 2,663,378 kilos collected
At the gates of the second official harvest weekend in the D.O. Ribeira Sacra, after having started on September 15th, the 89 wineries that harvest in this campaign have collected 2,663,378 kilos of grapes. The amounts per variety are distributed as follows:
