Half a month of official harvest in the D.O. Ribeira Sacra with 5,332,763 kilos collected

After half a month of official harvest, the D.O. Ribeira Sacra has collected 5,332,763 kilos. 4,245,820 kilos of the majority variety, Mencía, have been collected. The amounts per variety are distributed as follows:

- Godello 550.834 quilos
- Albariño 75.858 quilos
- Treixadura 44.562 quilos
- Branco Lexítimo 8.008 quilos
- Dona Branca 5.299 quilos
- Torrontés 1.797 quilos
- Loureira 1.614 quilos
Of the 89 wineries that harvest this year under the D.O. Ribeira Sacra, 55 have finished the harvest, 33 wineries are still harvesting and one is yet to start. The quality of the grapes that are entering the winery is very good, with an optimal health status.
D.O. Ribeira Sacra will continue with promotional activities in November, attending with ACRUAGA the event “Salón de los vino y aguardientes de Galicia” in Amsterdam. The activity organized by the Spanish Association of Tasters aims to continue promoting Galician wines in Europe. After having participated in the wine events in Paris, Düsseldorf and London, attending Amsterdam will help consolidate the market with the Netherlands, one of the main importers of D.O. Ribeira Sacra.
In addition to continuing to be present at events where wine is the protagonist, the D.O. Ribeira Sacra continues developing training activities, also in collaboration with ACRUAGA.
