Ribeira Sacra, international promotion in Prowein
The D.O. Ribeira Sacra returns for the eighth year to the Düsseldorf fair in Germany, which takes place from March 10 to 12, after debuting at this event in 2016.
This time it comes through the Rural Environment Department of the Xunta de Galicia, with the Galician Food Quality Agency (AGACAL), in a common space of the 5 Denominations of Wine Origin of Galicia, and will be present in Pavilion 11, Stand E50-05.
Ribeira Sacra has its own space at the fair, where it organizes a Wine Tunnel with 40 samples from 17 different wineries.
These wineries are: Abadia da Cova, Algueira, Ponte da Boga, Tear, Alma das Donas, Rectoral de Amandi, Prómine, Ribada, Don Bernardino, Finca Millara, Condado de Sequeiras, Pazo de la Cuesta, Regina Viarum, Ronsel do Sil, Aba Solleira, Tolo do Xisto and Viñas de Belesar.
In addition, there will be 8 wineries with their own space inside the Ribeira Sacra stand. These wineries are:
- Adega Algueira
- Adegas Moure (Abadia da Cova)
- Bodegas Petrón (Promine)
- Calvo Méndez, Manuel (Bodegas Ribada)
- Dominio do Bibei
- Don Bernardino
- Pazo da la Cuesta
- Viñas de Belesar (Mauricio Lorca author of wines)
This great presence is embodied in a space of its own that doubles the surface with which it was visited in previous years and the incorporation of wineries in person for the first time, in addition to the traditional wine tunnel where visitors can taste wines from 17 wineries.
This promotion effort is part of the Regulatory Council's strategy for a clear commitment to the internalization of wineries, which includes the recent presence of the Denomination of Origin at the Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris show.
