Ribeira Sacra at the Gourmets Salon in Madrid

The Regulatory Council of the Ribeira Sacra Denomination of Origin will be present at the Salón de Gourmets, the International Food and Beverage Quality Fair, which will be held from May 7 to 10, 2018, in Madrid, at IFEMA, Juan Carlos I Exhibition Center , in the institutional stand of the Xunta de Galicia, Conselleria do Medio Rural (Pavilion 6, G10).
In the framework of programmed activities, the D.O. RIBEIRA SACRA will carry out a series of activities within the Tasting Program «Galicia: 31 quality experiences» in order to inform the attending public about the peculiarities and characteristics of wine and viticulture in the Ribeira Sacra:
- Monday, May 7 from 12.00 to 13.00: Tasting of wines from the D.O. Ribeira Sacra
- Tuesday, May 8 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm: Tasting of I.G.P. Pataca de Galicia with D.O. Ribeira Sacra
- Wednesday, May 9, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm: I.G.P. Grelos de Galicia, I.G.P. Faba de Lourenzá, I.G.P Lacón galego, I.G.P. Pataca de Galicia and D.O. Ribeira Sacra.
- Thursday, May 10, from 12.00 to 13.00 D.O. Ribeira Sacra.
Salón de Gourmets - Fair of Food and Beverages of Quality, is an event organized by the Gourmets Group, a pioneer of Spanish gastronomy, of an international and exclusively professional character dedicated to high quality food and beverage products. Created in 1987, the Salon de Gourmets has evolved to become the leading trade fair in the sector of high quality gastronomy in Europe. In this thirty-first edition it will have a large foreign institutional representation of countries such as Switzerland, Hungary, Italy, France, Portugal, the Netherlands or Peru, together with the presence of Canada, as a country of honor.
The Organization, in collaboration with the ICEX (Institute of Foreign Trade), invites purchasing managers, general managers and owners of international food businesses interested in the marketing of delicatessen products. These potential buyers are from Europe, Asia, North America, Central and South, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
In this way, the presence of D. O. Ribeira Sacra in an event of these characteristics will further strengthen the internationalization sought by wines produced under the protection of the Regulatory Council.
