From February 3 to 5, 2025, the Regulatory Council of the Ribeira Sacra Designation of Origin will be present at Barcelona Wine Week (BWW), held at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona. This participation marks the Council’s first involvement in this prominent wine industry event.
The Ribeira Sacra D.O. will have its own stand showcasing 39 wines from 14 wineries, including 8 white wines, 1 rosé, and 30 reds. Additionally, several wineries from the designation will participate with their own stands, further expanding the presence of Ribeira Sacra wines at the fair.
Barcelona Wine Week is a key event for high-quality Spanish wines. In its 2025 edition, it will bring together more than 1,100 exhibitors from over 75 different quality seals, with an expected attendance of 24,000 visitors. The event offers a program of activities, including tastings, discussions, and meetings with industry experts.
The participation of the Regulatory Council in BWW reflects its commitment to bringing Ribeira Sacra wines to new markets and audiences, leveraging the platform this event provides to establish business connections and promote the diversity and quality of its wines.
