Beginning the harvest

Today September 17, 2013 the first winery starts the harvest in Ribeira Sacra. This vintage wine is initiating Régoa C. B. Amandi subzone in the province of Lugo, due to the nature and location of their vineyards the grapes that make meeting the parameters required by the Regulatory Council to start the harvest.
Since the end of last August technicians DO Regulatory Council Ribeira Sacra being carried maturation controls in different plots of the five subareas of the denomination.
These controls help in the coming days to the plenary session of the Regulatory Council to set the recommended official date for the start of the harvest.
