October 2th as recommended date for the beginning of harvest
The Regulatory Council of the D.O. Ribeira Sacra fixes on October 2th as recommended date for the start of the harvest season.
The plenary session of the C.R.D.O.R.S. met in the late afternoon of yesterday on September 20th to fix the date recommended for the beginning of the campaign of vintage.
To determine this recommended date were taken into account the information obtained in controls maturation Consello technicians have done since late last August in the different subareas of the denomination.
In this campaign will elaborate wine under the DO Ribeira Sacra 98 wineries and will monitor the process 15 suppliers, in addition to the technical staff of CRDORS which will be coordinated by the Technical Director of the Counsel.
From the last 17th have been applied for vintage work in 4 wineries included in the designation of origin.
On September 20th the information of the campaign are:

The grape growers who can sell: 2,964
