The Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Ribeira Sacra tomorrow, Friday March 14th at 21:00 h , held a tasting - public presentation at the Wine Museum Valdepeñas in Ciudad Real, in collaboration with the Youth Association Friends of Wine Valdepeñas .
With the completion of this activity promotion seeks to inform the public of diverse origin and other geographical areas of the DO wine Ribeira Sacra , the characteristics of the land in the name , specialty steep slope viticulture , grape varieties , the premises in winemaking and the close relationship with the landscape.
The presentation will be led by Ruth Fernández Vidal, Technical DO Ribeira Sacra, and José María Martínez Alonso, a member of the tasting panel DO sommelier and owner of Vinoteca O Beiro (Santiago de Compostela), and consist of a presentation of the DO Ribeira Sacra through a visual and then a tasting of wines from different vintages: barrel Mencia 2009, Mencia 2012 and Mencia 2013.
After the tasting of wines from Ribeira Sacra will be a tasting of Galician products protected in collaboration with DOP San Simón da Costa , DOP Arzúa Ulloa , DOP Queixo Tetilla , IXP Mel de Galicia, IXP Pataca de Galicia , IXP Lacon Gallego, IXP Queixo do Cebreiro, IXP Grelos of Galica, IXP Galicia chestnut, IXP Pan de Cea to continue with a tasting of Orujos Gallegos, collaborating IXP LiCores Tradicionais e Aguardentes de Galicia.
