Results of the contest "Gallaecia Awards 2014"

The association of sommeliers Gallaecia has granted a total of 105 564 distinctions between white and red wines that were presented to contest the five names of Galician origin, beating the record venture.

The cellars of Ribeira Sacra submitted a total of 109 wine samples in the initial tasting that took place on July 21 in the tasting room of the Control Board.
The Final Tasting was held on 1 and 2 September at the Big House Fuentemayor Silleda in the province of Pontevedra. The panel on the Final Tasting was formed by members of Gallaecia and technicians Regulatory Boards, has awarded a total of 22 wines from the appellation Ribeira Sacra, obtaining the Ribeira Sacra wines as many "Distinctions" 18, in the category of red wines.

The Wine Contest "Distinctions Gallaecia" turns 16 years with the label of "Contest Officially recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment." During all these years, the contest of this partnership has been consolidated as one of the best wine competitions, not only in Galicia, but also in the rest of the country.
