The Regulatory Council of Designation of Origin Ribeira Sacra met at the restaurant O Grelo in Monforte de Lemos (Lugo) to about 90 people between presidents and other staff who are part of the 25 Regulatory Councils that exist in Galicia, in a meal annual rotatably fellowship each year organizes a regulatory board.
It was also attended by members of management responsible for the food industry.
The meeting has served to share commonalities and emphasize the importance of protecting Galician Differentiated Products with distinctive quality.
José Manuel Rodríguez, president of CRDO Ribeira Sacra, has highlighted the important role of small producer and processor so that the general public can enjoy Galician products with designation of origin to ensure that products are differentiated quality.
The preparation of the menu was by Mr. Emilio Rodriguez, who has prepared an exclusive menu for the occasion, consisting of several dishes using covered by the various regulatory boards products, which have been provided specifically for the event.
