Result Rating Wine Tasting of the Harvest 2014

In the municipality of Carballedo (Lugo) has occurred Rating Wine Tastingof the Harvest 2014 Ribeira Sacra.
Expert tasters coming from different organizations and associations of Spanish territory have given a score of 7.0 thus qualifying the 2014 harvest as VERY GOOD.
The rating of Very Good for harvest in 2014 of Ribeira Sacra is great news for all the wineries that make up the designation of origin and brand quality wines produced in Ribeira Sacra.
The tasting panel was made up of nine experts and renowned tasters from different sources within the Spanish territory:
- Mercedes González Rodríguez, the Vitislucus Experts Association in Sensory Analysis
- Marcote Jorge Gil, of the Association of Sommeliers Agasu
- Ruben Dominguez Valverde of the Galician Association of Winemakers
- José María Martínez Alonso, member of the tasting panel of CRDO Ribeira Sacra
- Mazaira Jorge Pérez, Technical Director of the DO Valdeorras
- Raluy Antonio Rodriguez, member of the tasting panel of CRDO Ribeira Sacra
- Juan Leon Perez of the Youth Association of Friends of Wine Valdepeñas
- Barber Elena Soto, the Cofradia del Vino de Navarra
- Andres Camacho Garcia of the Youth Association of Friends of Wine Valdepeñas
Tasters from other parts of Spain and know the Ribeira Sacra wines but not the territory, exploit their movement to the area to conduct outreach to wineries and vineyards of the appellation visits; roasted to know the peculiarities of the forms of cultivation, varieties and soil in Ribeira Sacra.
The collection of samples for tasting rating 2014 harvest began on February 6 by technicians of the Regulatory Council, which collected a total of ten samples from ten different wineries, two warehouses for each of the five subareas form the name origin Ribeira Sacra, ending the collection of the same on the 12th.
