13/12/2019

D.O. Ribeira Sacra celebrated its traditional Christmas meal on Friday, a fellowship meeting where winemakers, labor staff and representatives of the Administration meet. The meal took place on this occasion at Casa Quinteliña, in Chantada, and one more year was used to deliver the awards to the award-winning wineries in the International Competition "Mondial des Vins Extremes" held in July in VallE d´Aosta (Italy).

The president of the C.R.D.O.R.S., José Manuel Rodríguez, went on December 1st to collect the prizes that the present authorities gave to their owners today. José Manuel Rodríguez took the opportunity to point out that “When, at the beginning of the 90s, we began in this reality that is the D.O.Ribeira Sacra didn`t expect to get to where Ribeira Sacra is today. We can be proud to have developed all this joint project that makes our territory known and recognized today. We leave notebook and pen for young people to continue writing history and can continue to live and work in Ribeira Sacra. Today we have a way of life that we must leave in the best possible conditions for new generations. ” Subsequently, the CERVIM awards were awarded, an organization that used to walk along with D.O. Ribeira Sacra. One more year the wines of the D.O. Ribeira Sacra triumphed in Aosta. D.O.
