XX Ribeira Sacra Tasting Wines

The next days 22 and 23 May the XX edition of the Ribeira Sacra Tasting Wines organized by the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Ribeira Sacra will be held at the Parador of Monforte de Lemos (Lugo ).
The tasting panel will consist of expert staff from diverse backgrounds: national and international journalists, sommeliers, winemakers, ....
Registered wineries in the appellation of origin may have a tasting samples completing the registration form found in the Documents > Official Business on this site until May 8th.
The tasting will consist of two phases:
- Pre - selection or wine tasting to be held on May 22th
- Final tasting to be held on May 23th
Three different categories are established to present the wines to the tasting :
- White Wines
- Red Wines
- Wines from other Vintages
The awards ceremony will be held the same day a final tasting event organized for this purpose , with prizes for the following categories :
- For the category of White Wines: Gold Medal, Silver Medal and Bronze Medal
- For category of Red Wines: Gold Medal, Silver Medal and Bronze Medal
- For category Wines from Others Vintages: one to three Gold Medals depending on the samples submitted to the Tasting
The collection of samples presented to the tasting will be conducted by the staff of the Regulatory Council .
