Small winery with modern facilities for the production of young wines and aged in barrels with a production capacity of 15,000 bottles.
Almost half a hectare of own vineyard on a plot that descends from the cellar along a hillside with perfect exposure to the sun, in addition to almost a dozen micro plots with different soils and altitudes managed by the winery itself seeking complete control from the vineyard to the wine bottle.
Aba Solleira is the personal project of a couple of winemakers (Carlos and Emilia), who after about 20 years of wine experience try to develop in the land of their roots. A challenge and an enjoyment to try to enclose in a bottle the different nuances that the Mencía expresses in the variability of soils, exhibitions, altitudes ... offered by the Ribeira Sacra.
