35 wineries continue to harvest in D.O. Ribeira Sacra when 3,496,411 kilos have been collected

As we approach the last weekend of September, of the 93 wineries under Denomination that harvest this campaign, 58 have already completed the work, 35 wineries are harvesting and there is no winery left to start, when last year to September 30th there were still wineries to begin with harvest.

To September 24th, 3,496,411 kilos have been collected, which by varieties are distributed as follows:

Red Varieties:

• Mencía 2.809.318 quilos
• Garnacha 82.783 quilos
• Merenzao 51.022 quilos
• Caíño 26.432 quilos
• Brancellao 25.461 quilos
• Sousón 24.976 quilos
• Tempranillo 19.497 quilos
• Mouratón 3.365 quilos
• Grao Negro 50 quilos

White varieties:

• Godello 338.708 quilos
• Albariño 62.789 quilos
• Treixadura 35.514 quilos
• Dona Branca 6.653 quilos
• Branco Lexítimo 4.272 quilos
• Torrontés 3.060 quilos
• Loureira 2.511 quilos

In addition to the expected decrease in the harvest for this campaign, grape has an optimal sanitary state and work continues with all the necessary measures for the prevention of Covid19.
