Help available for the restructuring and modernisation of vineyards.

The Rural environment published its conditions for the help available for the restructuring and modernisation of vineyards in Galicia for 2009 in the DOGA of the 29th of January. This help is available for modernising grape varieties, the replanting of vineyards and improving the management of vineyards.

Help will also be available for the costs involved in restructuring including help to compensate wine producers for loss of income during the restructuring. This help is available both to individuals and collectives (with a minimum of 5 wine producers).

The deadline for applicants is a month from the day after the DOGA is published and the Council has a timescale of 8 months in order to process the claims. Any modernisation or restructuring plans need to be completed before the 31st of July 2013.
