D.O. Ribeira Sacra, along with 26 other denominations, participates in the third collective and simultaneous toast for D.O.
This event, held for the third year in a row, aims to highlight the value of the wine with a designation of origin and bring it closer to the public in general and young people in particular, in a festive and demanding atmosphere. But this year will also highlight the role of denominations of origin and their winemakers and wineries as a backbone of the rural environment, as a source of socio-economic sustainability and population fixation in rural areas.
In the celebration of the third edition of the D.O. 27 denominations of origin participate: Almansa, Arlanza, Binissalem, Bullas, Calatayud, Catalunya, Cigales, Condado de Huelva, Jumilla, La Mancha, Lanzarote, León, Monterrei, Montilla -Moriles, Navarra, Pla i Llevant, Rías Baixas, Ribeira Sacra, Ribeiro, Rioja, Tacoronte -Acentejo, Toro, Uclés, Valdepeñas, Valencia, Vinos de Madrid y Yecla.
The 27 denominations of origin will summon the general public (both wine lovers, as those who are not yet and want to discover it), to make known the unique and different character of their wines with D.O. and participate in a day open to everyone. Each D.O. will have its own programming, which can be consulted at www.vinosdo.wine and will be updated as the date of the event approaches, in which there will be no shortage of promotions, contests and raffles.

MOVIMIENTO VINO D.O. it was held for the first time on May 20, 2017 and both that year, and in its second edition, in 2018, has managed to bring together thousands of people by offering wine with a denomination of origin in different parts of Spain. It is a day to celebrate the diversity and quality of the wines with D.O.
MOVIMIENTO VINO D.O. was born in 2016, being today the public brand with which the Spanish Conference of Viticultural Regulatory Councils (CECRV), the national association that represents the DDOO of wine, speaks with the consumer to spread the concept of denomination of origin and the values linked to DO wines (quality, diversity, authenticity, cultural roots, food security, healthy lifestyle, protection of the environment ...).
