D.O. Ribeira Sacra and Caixabank sign collaboration agreement
The D.O. renew with Caixabank, the financial agreement it had with another entity. This new financial relationship offers loans and other types of banking products, adapted to the needs of each winegrower and the territory.
Igor de las Heras emphasizes that "Our intention is that this agreement is useful for the Regulatory Council. We provide the technological part with the card we offer and all financial services. We like the sector and everything related to the environment and nature. In addition, as a financial entity, this agreement allows us to position ourselves in Ribeira Sacra. It is something positive for all of us that, hopefully, has continuity over time, giving solutions to the needs that arise in the sector. "
For his part José Manuel Rodríguez says that "This agreement is the result of wanting to collaborate with an entity that understood our concerns. There are services that will solve situations of wine growers. The card is one more tool, adapted to the times and with more capacity to control the vineyard. "
The agreement will solve many financial situations typical of the sector, as said the President of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Ribeira Sacra, "We are on the way to improving every day, we are going towards a stronger and more recognized Ribeira Sacra".
The collaboration agreement also opens the possibility to other types of services such as training sessions, rentings, advice on internationalization processes, ... all focused on the particularities of the sector.
In the act of the signing were also the Secretary of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Ribeira Sacra, Mercedes Martínez Fernández and Javier Rodríguez Mosquera, Director of the Caixabank office in Monforte de Lemos. Both highlighted and appreciated the efforts of the people who worked to reach this result.
