D.O. Ribeira Sacra attends Decanter for the first time

D.O.Ribeira Sacra will be represented at Decanter, along with other Galician wine denominations, in a specific area of Galicia, “Wines from Galicia”,  which has the support of IGAPE and whose mission is to highlight the potential of the Galician wine sector and put it in value in international markets.

The appointment will be on February 29th, at the Landmark Hotel in London, through the Decanter Spain and Portugal Fine Wine Encounter 2020, winemaking meeting of producers from Spain and Portugal. This is the first time that D.O.Ribeira Sacra participates in this meeting and will do so with 14 wines, belonging to 8 wineries:

• Don Bernardino S.L.  (2 vinos: 4ª Generación, Don Bernardino)
• Grupo Peago S.L. (3 vinos: Condado de Sequiras)
• Adega do Mollón S.L. (2 vinos: Pombares “Lía”, Pombares “Gloria”)
• Adega Ponte da Boga S.L. (P Ponte da Boga)
• Marcos Fernández Ramón (Cruceiro)
• Tolo do Xisto S.L. (3 vinos: Tolo do Xisto, Ruxe Ruxe, Tolo do Xisto Os Conventos)
• Bodegas Rectoral de Amandi SAU (Rectoral de Amandi)
• Rodríguez López, Víctor Manuel (Val da Lenda)

The wines of D.O. Ribeira Sacra will also be present at the ‘Galicia Discovery Theatre’ presentation by the Master of Wine, Sarah Jane Evans. The appointment, also at Landmark Hotel, in this case at 4:00 pm, will serve to approach the wine characteristics of each D.O., its trends and methods of winemaking.
