Start maturation controls

The technicians of the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin have begun ripening controls representative of the five sub-plots that make up the name: Amandi, Chantada, Quiroga-Bibei, Ribeiras do Miño and Ribeiras do Sil.
Maturation controls determine the status of the different grape varieties and serve to set the official recommended date by the Regulatory Council for the start of the harvest.
The plenary os the Regulatory Council is the competent to determine the recommended start of harvest date, after studying the data provided by the ripening controls made by the technical staff shall decide the official start date of harvest for 2014-2015 campaign.
