Ribeira Sacra gets the first 3 prizes in the Tasting-Competition Galician Red Wines held in the Basque Country
Ribeira Sacra wines are again in luck as three wines with designation of origin obtained the first three prizes awarded by the Association of Sommeliers in Euskadi-tasting competition conducted annually by the occasion of the celebration of Galicia in Euskadi.

A PeñÃn Guide team consisting of Pablo Vecilla, taster, and Javier Luengo, editorial director, were yesterday at the headquarters of the Control Board to evaluate wines from Ribeira Sacra. A total of 66 samples could taste different vintages, mainly 2013, a total of 25 registered wineries in the appellation.
XXI Wine Festival in Pantón

Today May 12th technicians of the Regulatory Council have begun collecting the samples in the 37 wineries of the five subareas of the designation of origin that participate in the wine tasting with a total of 69 samples registered.
